Welcome to the 2013 Sartell SummerFest
Mayor’s 5k and Kid’s 1k Fun Run!

The 5k run/walk and Kid's 1k fun run are back again this year and we are hoping to build on the success of the past six years. Our family friendly event continues to grow in popularity and we're excited for this year's turn-out. The 5k run/walk and Kid's 1k are a great way to get out and promote fitness and help support the Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education program. Once again, proceeds from the event will go towards expanding recreational opportunities in the Sartell Area for persons of all ages.

The 5k walk will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the 5k run at 6:15 pm. The Kid's 1k fun run will begin at the conclusion of the 5k run, around 7:00 pm. All routes begin and end at Sartell's City Hall. Wheelchair athletes are welcome, however no other wheels will be allowed in the 5k run.

• Packet pick-up will be available at City Hall on Thursday, June 6th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, and starting at 4:30 on Friday, June 7th.
• There will be a St. Cloud Orthopedic Sports water stop along the 5k route, and a bag drop at City Hall for your sweats and other race items during the race.

At the conclusion of the run/walk, participants are invited to join with friends and family at the LibertyVille event, sponsored by Liberty Savings Bank, taking place at the Pinecone Regional Park at Bernick's Arena. Race results and awards will be announced and the Sartell Community Band will be providing entertainment along with the other LibertyVille activities.

Parking for the event will be limited at Bernick's Arena and City Hall. Participants are encouraged to use the Pine Meadow Elementary School parking lot located just north on Pinecone Road.
